So yesterday I realized that it was the last day of Lent...  I made it!  I seriously haven't shopped since before February 22nd!?!  And I can't say it's been easy...  I suffered bouts of aggression and couldn't figure out why some days I got off work and just got in bed :(.  Shopping is a hell of a drug *in my Rick James voice*. 

In celebration of this accomplishment and to see if I was cured of my addiction, I went to Marshall's to do a little pre-shopping.  The first thing I noticed was that new clothes smell and I stopped in my tracks to just breathe it in for a minute.  After that, I became mesmerized by all of the color!  Back in February, a few spring colors were on display but now they have officially taken over!!!  It was great to see the neons, prints, and florals that I've been stalking online up close and personal...

While I am permitted to shop again now, I plan to take the discipline that I garnered from my sacrifice and use it to make me a wiser shopper.  The first step is creating a budget.  The next step is going through what I have and determining what items if any I need to update.  After that, I'm off to shop! My birthday is next week so this month I get to add birthday money to my shopping budget along with all those great birthday discounts...yippee!!!  Well I'm off to the store...
