So this weekend, I decided to take an impromptu road trip to visit my family...  I found out via facebook that my cousin, who's in the military, was home from Saudi!  Isn't social media great!?!  I didn't give it a second thought...I got my car serviced, hit the road, and drove 9 hours to see him!  

Since I had made such a long trip, I decided to pop up on a few more relatives. I was uber excited to see my Aunt Lou...yes, I'm her namesake :).  She is my style icon! Although I have leaps and bounds to go before I'm anywhere near being as fabulous as she is, it gives me something to aspire to!  I took these pictures in her garden.  This shoot had to be the most fun and memorable one ever!!!  I named this post in her honor because she loves Savannah, hence the name of her boutique Savannah G's.

It's crazy that I spent nearly an entire day...24 of the past 72 hours in the car and I feel more rejuvenated than I have in a looong time! Sometimes you just need to go home...
