The last few days I’ve been sooo emo. At any given moment I’ve been on the verge of tears, or screaming at the top of my lungs. My son had to bear the brunt of this…sorry buddy :(. To stay sane I’ve decided that I need to implement some self-care this week in the form of healthy eating, exercising, and taking on a new activity or project. I have so many things on my to-do list that I’m just going to dive in.
Like many of us, I have vowed to lose weight because I packed on the pounds during grad school with the all-nighters. I lost the first 5 pounds easy and have plateaued the last few weeks. I know I need more exercise, but I’m also really struggling with what to eat. If it’s not chips and guac, I don’t want it! Hence, I’ve literally been starving myself and still not losing weight. I’m going to try smoothies as meal replacements when I’m not in the mood to cook (or eat) anything healthy. I’m also going to kick my exercise up a notch.
